Wish it was easier to get to Brooklyn, because we would make this our fave spot. When I came over to the office his gorgeous wife welcomed me with her beautiful smile.
It was my first time walking into a cosmetic surgery office and it honestly felt like home. Thank god is wasn't any worse.. I am Also Afraid Of The Normal Fears When You Have a Major Suregery.
Resurrection - If I had great experience I wouldn't count the money I am spending but definitely doesn't worth. The menu is pretentious, you have to ask your server to decode most of it for you.
Look, the food was good. But it was also 3 arancini. And a slice of bread. I think my server could see the sadness in my eyes as they placed the 3 rice balls in front of me, because I had truly hoped to eat a meal, but would only be eating 3 gently fried risotto fritters. And a piece of bread. Expensive crap Do not have any idea why you would come back here!. Tiny portions tiny tiny tiny expensive portions. Service was good so one star for that. More like coated tomato sauce without hardly a bite of meat. Salad was ok, but flavorless. Brooklyn roman was extremely bitter and no coffee foam. I will not be back to this restaurant. Thought I would try again after they switched back to normal tipping. Food was so salty I couldn't finish it. I ordered dessert and even that was over salted. Do not understand- obviously nothing is tried before it leaves the kitchen. Go to Dino or evelina- don't waste your time or money here. How this place has anything less than five stars is beyond me. Been to this place probably no less than 15 times over the past year or so brooklyn roman every time the food is perfectly on point, the service is top rate and the cocktails are varied and refined. Wine list is rotating and interesting with a glass we always love. Wood burning oven inspires most dishes. Pasta dishes are homemade, rotating and always interesting. Since they moved to no tipping it also feels more affordable with bigger portions. Please ignore any review that is less than 4 stars for this joint. Having trained myself as a chef in italy I can completely vouch for this place. It's friendly upscale atmosphere delivers some great service and delicious food. Tiffany started with a funky orange wine and I had Rye. The beef carpaccio with Beets, Arugula, Parmesan, and Sea Salt. We had then had the bucatini and monk fish. The pasta was out of this world good. The texture was firm yet pliable. The fish was done well with an okay portion with a white beans and butternut squash. Roman's has a really fun atmosphere, which is somehow both upscale and local neighborhood spot at the same time. I also admire places that are trying to go tipless to give their full staff better compensation. But Roman's has more issues than those positive aspects can overcome. For one, the food is good, but not great. I really enjoyed the suppli arancini with some cheese inside, basicallybut the pasta special and a roasted duck entree were nothing to write home brooklyn roman, especially compared to the food being turned out at Italian places nearby like Evelina. Worse are the prices, which, even accounting for gratuity inclusion, are outlandish given the portion sizes. My wife and I split those three dishes with a drink apiece, and left very hungry with light wallets. Add in slow and supercilious service, and I doubt we'll be back -- too many good spots in the area now. Honestly I would never go back here or recommend it to anyone. The only reason why I gave it two stars instead of one was because the food was ok. The menu is pretentious, you have to ask your server to brooklyn roman most of it for you. Then once you've overcome the language barrier there are more surprises in store. We ordered bruschetta and instead got hard stale bread in little toast bites similar to the ones my mother would probably make into croutons. Honesty sir I'm a world traveler and I've been to many parts of Italy and this is a load of crap. It feels like a nice version of your local diner. The decor feels comfortable and inviting but then the menu food and service is just the opposite. I felt bait and switched. I've eaten at the Diner, Marlow and Sons and other restaurants that are part of the same group as Romans, and I didn't feel the utter disappointment I felt after that meal. Roman's is a neighborhood institution, and it can be a wait to get a spot. They relatively recently switched to tip-included, so keep that in mind when you look at the menu and get taken aback at how expensive it is. The food is good and changes brooklyn roman, which can make it an adventure to go there--things reoccur with relative frequency but you can't count on anything to remain on the menu. Also, be warned, this place can be crushingly loud like, 85-90 decibels loud ; between the full restaurant and the music, it can be hard to hear your tablemates if you have hearing issues. Keep that in mind if that's the type of thing that bugs you. The more I see a restaurant that includes the tip into the price of admission the more I like it. I especially like it when the service is extraordinary as it was last night at Romans. This very busy, very good restaurant in the Ft. Green section of Brooklyn seems to be doing everything right in making it's patrons happy diners. I can sure attest to our table of four who all loved the experience Romans put before us. The food is this traditional Italian style home cooking with a brooklyn roman dining twist that really works. I don't know Romans equation to calculate their tip amount, but brooklyn roman it is, it is worth it. This popular Brooklyn restaurant has all the makings of a top notch Big Apple restaurant across the East River and that's saying a mouthful. The kitchen has really stepped it up in recent months. Sensitivity to details like the temperature of the olives and fun textural brooklyn roman between ingredients is notable. Highly recommend the chef's tasting for 2+ people. And the bread is brooklyn roman, especially dipped in the fava bean puree. Excellent food and a menu that brooklyn roman everyday. Romans is expensive even with the tip included so would recommend it for special occasions. Portions are on smaller side so make sure you order enough but the vibes are great, the service is above average, and we even had a chance to meet and have a long chat the one of the owners who was lovely and Roman himself. This place is a gem. Welcoming staff to people from the burbs. Excellent, unusual hard to find wines by the glass. Wish it was easier to get to Brooklyn, because we would make this our fave spot. The atmosphere was cozy, where most of the other patrons were obviously regulars from the neighborhood who knew the folks that worked there. I like Marlow and Sons and I heard it is a sister restaurant so I wanted to brooklyn roman a try. Ok so gratuity free I am expecting prices to be little higher than usual. If I had great experience I wouldn't count the money I am spending but definitely doesn't worth. I had pasta with beans it was tasty but definitely very overpriced for what you getting. I am still hungry after paying my bill so this means something. Staff is kind but not very informative. I didn't know what to pick when I see the pretentious menu and needed more information other than 'this is my favorite'. It was so good you can't even compare what you are having here. Look, the food was good. But it was also 3 arancini. And a slice of bread.
